Review of White Dog (1982) by Leslie D — 04 Jun 2011
I'm a real animal person, so at the beginning I was way into this. There is something a tad over-dramatic about the dialogue but it didn't bother me as much as it did some people. It started to loose me once the retraining began, because the method he uses is outdated and immoral (you're not supposed to isolate an animal from the most positive thing in his life!).
Overall, it's an interesting film about racisim but also about animal rights.
