Review of White Christmas (1954) by Ian L — 04 Jan 2010
Big dance routines and classic songs plus Rosemary Clooney and Danny Kaye, how could this fail?
On the other side though, Bing seems a trifle wooden and disinterested at times and the dark gravity of sentimentality threatens to draw the film down on several occasions.
Overall, an enjoyable vehicle for the talents of the cast which continues to be watchable despite its age.
