Review of Whisky (2004) by Jim F — 19 Jul 2011
She's doing him a favor and he appears grumpy as hell about it. She comes up with the suggestions about getting some photos taken. She virtually has to completely renovate his run down looking apartment.
At one point she's even pushing his car for him. And all this is before the brother has even arrived. Once arrived he leaves her for the awkward situation of making conversation with him even though its all lies.
She endeared herself to me as eventually quite an appealing older woman. However I found myself not quite understanding what was going on with his spell on the roulette. Did he really want to lose that money.
Nice movie. Nice to see my 1st experience of Uruguay cinema.
