Review of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016) by Kae B — 18 Sep 2016
This is a heartwarming film, well directed and thoughtfully acted by all. It has the appropriate amount of cynicism, humor, and tragedy for a war film, treating the conflict in Afghanistan with respect.
And through the relationships of the main characters, the film transcends the war genre to shine a light on the human struggle to simply exist in a more meaningful way.
