Review of While We're Young (2015) by Iris B — 20 Apr 2015
This is like two separate films merged into one, and they don't really mesh. One is about a childless couple in their 40s trying to regain a youthful spark by hanging out with a younger couple (hipsters from Brooklyn, of course).
The other is about documentary filmmaking (the men in both couples film documentaries) and the integrity of filming reality. This is some heavy "film nerd" material that doesn't really mesh with the comedy associated with growing old.
