This film may not feature such awesomely cool things like kung-fu mummies nor hopping vampires who would rather share opium with you than drink your blood, nor does it feature tons of amazing fight sequences and jaw dropping stunts that only Sammo Hung can pul off.
What it does give is a police action, ghost story, romantic comedy all rolled into one that works within the context of Hong Kong cinema from the 1980s.
