Review of The Mummy (2017) by David P — 03 Aug 2018

This movie suffered from a terrible trailer, awful reviews, and bad hype. And yet, it's a super fun movie that didn't deserve its reputation. It has tons of humor from Cruise, who delivers as always.

The action scenes were amazing. The thrills were thrilling. It was surprisingly refreshing to see Cruise play a character where he didn't have it all together and wasn't a heroic unstoppable force trying to save the world.

I'm not sure what went wrong to deserve the bad hype, but this movie made me laugh, thrilled me, and made me want more.
