Review of Where the Truth Lies (2005) by Glen S — 20 Nov 2007
Bacon and Firth are both very good in this, but their comedy "team" is weak. It's a digging up of an old unsolved murder. It might easily have been Bacon (he's been bad before); sometimes it seems more likely to have been Firth (with a mean temper behind his calm).
Well it wasn't the female journalist whose relentless investigation made a mess of all the conflicting relationships. Not Hitchcock, but worth the time to watch it.
