Review of When Harry Met Sally... (1989) by Carmela S — 03 Nov 2011
After Annie Hall we all thought it was impossible to even create a decent modern romantic comedy set in New York, without making it look like a chick flick. When Harry met Sally is funny in its own way, and although we can see that plenty of elements were borrowed from Annie Hall, this movie still tried to create a specific tone for its characters particularly Billy Crystal.
Besides Annie Hall and When Harry met Sally every other movie set in New York is a definite chick flick.
