So I finally saw the supposedly infamous romance classic.

There were a lot of great things about this film; the actors were great, the script was very witty, giving Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan especially to have some real, engrossing and humorous scenes, and the style in which Rob Reiner shot it was creative and different; having couples after marriage share their testimonies in between scenes as time progressed.

Though practically the entire premise behind this film, is premarital sex. There are no good morals to come from this film, sure there are good feelings in the end when Harry and Sally finally realize after a decade or something that they're in love,.

I would kind of equate this to the Juno of the 80's. It's a quirky comedy with a wonderful style and brilliant cast though revolves around premarital sex. There are plus and minuses to take away from either, Juno is less explicit in it's themes though has skewed message about friendship, whereas When Harry Met Sally has a happy romantic ending but a very rocky path getting there. There are a lot of comparisons and contrasts I could make.

Which ultimately I can deal with all that, I can still look at it as a film and all that, and yeah, as a film it was pretty good, but even having to go through all they did, all the messed up psychological and relational stuff; it doesn't really feel like a great or memorable experience.
