Review of When a Stranger Calls (2006) by Charlotte J — 24 May 2010
This could have been a much better movie. This is a remake to a classic slasher film. The film does not have a big name cast. But that is okay. The overall story is decent enough. A stranger calls a girl babysitting and terrorizes her.
The acting in this was okay. But it was the story that had too many plot holes. Why did the killer pick her? How did he know she would babysit at that particular house when it was a last minute decision? How did he gain access to such a secure house? Questions like that drove me nuts watching the film.
If you like slasher suspense films check it out. But you may be disappointed in the end.
