Review of Westworld (1973) by Jeff D — 24 Nov 2009
When it comes to amusement parks gone awry, Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park perfected everything he got wrong the first time around with Westworld. Yul Brynner's robot cowboy (his best role according to Mr.
Malkmus) is inventive yet very dated. Westworld has some good ideas that just aren't executed well, especially when viewing the film in the 21st century.
