Review of Westworld (1973) by King L — 03 Dec 2017
This is the original movie, not the TV series remake about an amusement park where participants can relive historical scenarios. It is based on the Michael Crichton novel of the same name. The reenactments are done with robots or androids.
Yul Bryner plays an android cowboy and he dresses the same way he did in the movie "The Magnificent Seven." The movie focuses on 2 participants who go the Old West scenario played by James Brolin and Richard Benjamin.
Every thing is fun until the system goes haywire and the robots become dangerous and violent. Because this movie was made in 1973 the special effects are dated but it was considered state of the art at the time.
