Review of Westworld (1973) by Andy S — 19 Nov 2018
I already love the concept and feel of the movie. I can tell that the movie is one that doesnï¿ 1/2(TM)t take itself too serious. I really wish something like this excited. I really do. And Iï¿ 1/2(TM)d visit all three types of periods.
There seems to be dark side to all of this that I havenï¿ 1/2(TM)t quite put my finger on. Itï¿ 1/2(TM)s kind of amazing to see how everything works behind the scenes.
This movie takes the phrase be careful what you wish for, to a whole new level. The main character who was new to visiting West World, wanted an authentic feel. Well, he got exactly that when the he started getting chased by a gunslinger.
Holy shit. That was one of the biggest fires Iï¿ 1/2(TM)ve ever seen when a stunt actor was catching on fire. That flame was like 10 feet high.
Great idea and concept for a movie. A paradise resort where you get to live as another person in your favorite time period and do whatever you want. Only that everything starts going wrong and it turns into a nightmare. And the main evil robot was beautifully portrayed by Yul Brynner.
