This plays out like a 90-minute trailer for a much more awesome movie. awful character development and poorly-written minimalist dialogue despite a really clever idea from a talented author. the final chase scene between Benjamin and Brynner is more painful than suspenseful--way too long, way too drawn-out, and a anticlimactic finale leaving you disappointed and annoyed.
still, the film does manage to maintain an entertainment value and the sci fi concept is undeniably cool. I just wish it was better executed overall.
