Review of Wendy and Lucy (2008) by Corey B — 13 Jun 2009
Well done, a film that goes against the grain on many levels. Taking a woman who is obvious beautiful most of the time, make her 'real'. Then you have a very VERY simple story which is told ina way that keeps interested, the plot is self is anti hollywood where its always the city or the world at danger, this is about a girl who has lost her dog and is stranded in a city).
A film with no music to and you hardly notice it (it took me till half way throught he movie to realize it). It's too bad no one will really notice or see this film, it will probably linger in its movie rental space but for ones who find it will find it is a worthy ride to take.
