I was "lucky" enough to catch a pre-screening of this movie. Steve Carell and his supporting cast are some of the best actors in the business and the story of Hogie is an inspiring anecdote of the human mind and how it can triumph over adversity.

The movie did not do this elite cast or a great true story justice. The trauma that Hogie experienced was lost in a sea of special effects and sloppy writing that left too many loose ends for it to have been worth the time.
