Great cop/crime family drama with Mark Wahlberg & Joaquin Phoenix. Great performances (even from eye candy Eva Mendes) and excellent visuals (photography, angles, lighting). Yet the story is nothing new, and the flick feels outdated and has that been there done that feel to it.
Entertaining, highly enjoyable but could of had a bit more energy to it.
