Review of We Don't Live Here Anymore (2004) by Sara L — 16 Jun 2008
I can certainly understand why some might give this movie a positive review. the acting is fine. the characters are easy to relate to for some. however.. their all too depressing. the story lags for the majority of the movie. it's like watching a mind-knumbing soap-opera that doesn't seem to end & yet the movie is barely 90 minutes.
I found at the end of the movie I didn't even really care what happened with the characters even tho it wouldn't take a genius to figure out what would happen. it's just too slow to get to where it needs to go. everyone is depressed. Laura Dern gives the most interesting performance in this movie! but none of the actors could save this movie. it's just bad.
