Review of We Don't Live Here Anymore (2004) by Patrick G — 20 Oct 2010
Two young couples with young children are best friends who teach at a university - one teaches literature, the other is a writer teaching creative writing. The Mark Ruffalo character is having an affair with his friend's wife.
Waiting for them to get caught provides the suspense. The movie switches from each one of the four throughout which makes for a kind of poetic effect which I liked a lot. The ending wasn't what I expected.
This doesn't get an especially high rating on either IMDB or RT, but I liked it fine. Four stars.
