Madonna, as a director, has some finesse and the movie is nice to look at most of the time, but the performances are so sub-par, the dialogue is very clunky, and full of weak romances that never get developed in any way.
W.E. is a sloppy, boring, slow drama that has no structure what so ever and is an absolute embarrassment to all Oscar-bait movies.
