Review of Water Drops on Burning Rocks (2000) by Codie E — 21 Jul 2009
Paper thin characters that feel both manipulated and manipulative than feel the need to whine and pine even though we couldn't care less about them. The only redeeming feature of the film is Ozon's use of the singular space that never tires - it's a shame the same can't be said for the characters.
