Though Watchmen is a great film, as a fan of the graphic novel by Alan Moore (which just so happens to be my most favorite book of all time), I was rather disappointed by the ending. There was something so Watchmen-y or Alan Moore-y about an alien invasion, and of course the folks at Warner Bros.
had to change it to make it appeal to a larger audience. Which in a business sense is logical and understandable, but as a fan of the graphic novel I feel I have been cheated from what was an integral part of the original story.
