Is there boring parts? Yes.
Is it too long and complicated for those of us who didn't read the book? Yes.
Is there AMAZING visual scenes that will stick with any movie goer for years after seeing the movie? Definitely yes.
Ultimately, you have to sit through a lengthy movie for some key scenes, but it's well worth it. Someone needs to tell the producers of comic book movies that the default comic book flick should be 1:45 minutes, not 3 hours. You aren't making Schindler's list here, your filming a schoolboys daydream. It ISN'T important, and doesn't deserve 3 hours.
