You know going in that there is going to be an impossible scenario where the brothers meet in a winner take all fight. What you don't know is that this is a surprisingly touching movie. The acting is wonderful, including a standout performance from Tom Hardy.
Nolte turns in his best performance in years, and the Conan O'brien look-a-like Edgerton turns in a strong performance as well. The film is a gripping example of the human condition as well as a touching story of redemption.
