Review of Warm Bodies (2013) by Tony B — 27 Jan 2019
The film is a lively and fun adaption of Romeo and Juliet that is engaging mostly because of the work between the two lead characters. We have all the signs back to the original play such as the famous balcony scene, where R ignores the danger and calls to Juliet from down below.
The beginning quarrel between the two bodies of people that ends in death and reignites and demonstrates the animosity between the two camps. The lovers that can't be together finding a way to fall in love.
Juliet's overprotective father who does not wish her to be with R. As far as adaptions go, the movie hits its mark in being a relatable and engaging classic tale dressed and given to us in a new way.
