27 YEARS LATER.

WARGAMES has become a reality.

NPR on "FRESH AIR" inadvertently reported last night that CHINA'S CYBER-ATTACKS ON GOOGLE.COM actually utilized the RUSSIAN COMPUTER PROGRAMMERS; one 23-year old kid was able to write a "BOT CODE" to hack into and control 100,000 remote computers to launch a simultaneous attack on GOOGLE.COM'S propitiatory software.

The authors of "Fatal System Error: The Hunt for the New Crime Lords Who Are Bringing Down the Internet," cracked a RUSSIAN conspiracy of computer programmers who were and still are able to go as far as to hacking the ELECTRICAL GRID of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Essentially, we have an internet-based alliance forged between CHINESE and RUSSIAN internet users (people who are under 30 years old) capable of shutting down the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

The same 20 year older computer-users may be able to control the launching of existing bio-weapons against targeted countries.

Even though I "Knock" NPR (National Public Radio) for some of the inane conclusions its commentators draw about certain events, its still the best source of information that CNN, FOX-NEWS and the TV NETWORKS totally ignore.

The release WARGAMES the film even "predicted" a glitch that started WORLD WAR III--there's a news item from 1983 that was "buried" mid-way through an issue of THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER stating that, for an hour, we (THE USA) were actually at war with THE SOVIET UNION.

But,.

Gosh; looking at WARGAMES on AMC (AMERICAN MOVIE CLASSICS) on cable the other day . . .the computers are sooooo OLD (ha ha ha ha ha).

I remember accompanying my friend and his family when they bought an APPLE IIe for $2,000.00 in 1982, before WARGAMES came-out. I was 11 then and now I'm "old" (compared to the RUSSIAN computer hackers allegedly working for the Chinese Government.

WARGAMES is an excellent film that will never go out of fashion.

You know, with the internet A SOVIET UNION can exist without our ever knowing about it: computer users can politically UNITE via the internet to launch concerted attacks against "enemy" forces (namely us Americans who are busily exciting ourselves to see "Dakota" kiss "Kirsten" in THE RUNNAWAYS).
