Review of Wargames (1962) by Omar L — 01 Sep 2014
Technology vs. human element during the post-detente days of the Cold War. This movie could have been terrible by choosing to play the relatively flat characters as simply good or evil, but instead, they're shown to be archetypes of personalities involved in humanity's struggle to find its place in an increasingly technologically-driven world.
No one does anything stupid in this movie, and that's always great to see.
