Review of Wall Street (1987) by Curt C — 16 Jan 2011
Charlie Sheen stars as a stock broker lured to the dark side of insider trading by the captivating Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas). Sheen fumbles through the film as the mail lead; Wall Street would be completely forgotten if not for the Oscar winning performance of Douglas as the corrupt and seductive Gordon Gekko.
I don't mean to ignore Stone's contributions as director, but if you've ever wanted to see an actor at the top of his craft save a film from obscurity due to a poor supporting cast, this is it.
