Review of Wall Street (1987) by Gavin S — 30 Jan 2011
Becky had never seen this, and since we rented the sequel, it was a Wall Street night. Over 20 years later and this film is still powerful as a warning about the dangers of Wall Street, trading, and the financial world, though many took it as a how to guide.
Michael Douglas is fantastic as Gordon Gekko, with very solid support from Charlie Sheen as his young apprentice Bud Fox, and Martin Sheen as Bud's father. If you haven't seen this yet, where have you been??
