Unfairly knocked by a lot of critics, "Wall Street" stands as a time capsule to the excess of 80s greed. "Greed is good!" exclaims the legendary anti-hero Gordon Gekko. And this is Michael Douglas' signature performance.
A brilliant performance for which he won an Oscar. Yes, the film gets preachy especially toward the end but it does work overall as a morality tale.
