Review of Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price (2005) by Matt D — 19 Feb 2008
I like its simplicity. Of course only an educated audience will be watching this, but it would work well as a powerful propaganda tool to convince the masses of the evil-ness of Wal-Mart. I could not buy this in stores in Australia, so when I found it in HMV London I just had to get it! Wal-mart, Tesco, Woolworths, Big W, Kmart, Best Buy.
They are all the same, using a similiar formula- scam those working in a factory, scam those selling the goods, scam the customer with shoddy goods. Its pathetic and I like this film because it highlights all these known facts.
