Review of Waking Life (2001) by Ryan H — 30 Jun 2009
More like an experience than a movie. I know that's said about every neo-artsy film these days, but this is the only time that first sentence truly fits: this movie defies classification, and the common movie plot-structure.
In a series of lectures, rants, and revelations, Richard Linklater delivers one of the heaviest pieces of philosophy, experimental animation, and all out mind-blowing-ness ever put on film.
