Review of W. (2008) by Ross M — 04 Jul 2009
W, excellently portrayed by Josh Brolin, is shown to be a man always looking for his father's love. The film comes across as slightly incoherent, jumping backwards and forwards through W's life for the first half.
The enjoyment comes through specific scenes, such as Cheney trying to manipulate a reluctant president into signing up to 'new interrogation techniques'. Incidentally, Cheney is the one driven by American world domination with Bush tagging along.
Ocasionally acted scenes have been mixed with real scenes, which I'm not conviced works.
