Review of W. (2008) by Grant S — 19 Apr 2010
For me, normally Stone can be either a brilliant director, or a shocking one. This film actually sits somewhere in between. There are some flashes of old, but the OTT kitchiness of Condy Rice, Cheney et all take some of the gloss off what would have been a very good movie if it had been done a little more straight.
The way time was portrayed worked perfectly though.
