Review of W. (2008) by Benny G — 16 Feb 2015
Who knows why I watched this movie. It pissed me off beyond belief. It pisses me off that we were involved in a war that was based on NOTHING but lies & they all knew it! It pisses me off that Condi Rice was indeed the lap dog I knew she was.
It pisses me off that Colin Powell was the ONLY voice of reason throughout everything & got thrown to the wolves at the UN. The whole damn Iraq war pisses me off! Fucking idiots playing war destabilized an already volatile region.
But back to the movie, GREAT casting (all-star cast), superbly acted by everyone too. Elizabeth Banks is a wee bit young to be playing 'modern day' Laura Bush, but other than that, great casting/acting.
I didn't think the film was necessary, but we all know how this story ends.
