Review of W. (2008) by Nicole R — 03 Feb 2011
A decent, sympathetic treatment of George Bush. It suffers from a major lack of bite and makes one yearn for the Oliver Stone of the JFK/Natural Born Killers days. The film also ends soon after the beginning of the Iraq War, so it misses out on the most critical parts of the Bush presidency and lacks any real climax or denouement.
An odd curiosity of a film that goes down much easier than any film about Bush should.
