Review of W. (2008) by Rob S — 20 Apr 2011
A hell of a lot better than I expected, and really impressive when you consider how difficult it must be to create a convincing, human character out of the most recent and hated of ex-presidents. it was sometimes annoying how many "bushisms" they tried to squeeze into the movie, but not a big deal.
the acting was great aside from the lady playing condoleeza rice. unless rice has parkinsons or something I dont know about, this lady was ridiculous. really distracting. cromwell, though he probably looked the least like the figure he was playing, was the best part of the movie.
I was entertained the whole time, and at no point did I feel that I was being told what to think about bush.
