Review of Village of the Damned (1995) by Taba H — 01 May 2010
With the exception of "They Live" I've always found John Carpenters' films to be tedious in the extreme, this remake of the 1960 sci-fi original is no exception.
Watching this film leaves me with an overwhelming sense of "beige", not to mention boredom (par for the course for a John Carpenter film really). Not even Christopher Reeve and Mark Hamill are able to raise it above the mediocre.
