Your opinion of this film will definitely be influenced by your political opinions but it is worth seeing for its style, humor, and spot-on performances. Bale and Amy Adams are both great and Sam Rockwell's George W.
Bush is truly amazing. It's hard to imagine yet this film actually makes the story of how we got in the mess we are in today amusing. Do you come away truly knowing what makes Cheney tick? Maybe not, but the film asks the crucial question: where is his heart?
