Leaving Vice I thought how flat Cheney's portrayal and the movie were but then I realized Cheney is a flat character. Living in the Trump era, we forget how the Bush / Cheney years were so awful in their own way.
Maybe I'm too close the times yet but much was not funny and horrifying. The Cheney women did nto seem ral to me. Amy Adams wasn't sinister enough as Lynne Cheney nor were the daughters. Looking now at 4 stars, I guess I enjoyed it more that this review states.
