Review of Very Bad Things (1998) by Geoff C — 02 Jun 2012
The film is pretty empty. There are a few bright moments, but overall the film falls flat. The only character with any redeeming qualities *spoiler alert* dies early in the film. Everyone else is so self centered, and vile that there is no one audiences can identify with, and so there is nobody to side with or cheer for.
On the positive side, some of the camera work was fun, and the ending with Cameron Diaz was humorous. On the whole, however, I can't say I'd recommend this film.
