Review of Vertigo (1958) by Brian R — 08 Dec 2012
This is probably the best film Hitchcock has ever made in his career. It is a masterpiece about a former private invistigator (Jimmy Stewart) who is to follow an attractive girl (Kim Novak) and then starts to become obsessed with her, loses her then finds her again through another alias, grooms her into his own liking and in one of the best scenes all the pieces and clues all come together. I'm sorry if I haven't explained this all clear but those who have seen "Vertigo" know what I mean. "Vertigo" is probably my fav Hitchcock picture and personally one of my fav.
Vertigo in many ways touched me so. A real film from the heart.
