Review of Vertigo (1958) by Roger R — 11 May 2013
So much has been said about this film I only wish to add my own bizarre fascination. I love the "Madness" scene and wonder if hitch was just being a bit OTT ( ie the audience are so dumb we have to really spell this out.
I also love the way he dresses Kim Novak like a mannequin - shades of pygmalion. She begs him to love her for herself, and his response is to want to change her hair.
