Review of Vertigo (1958) by Travis F — 15 Jul 2013

My opinion would be different if I had seen this when it was released, but after seeing many films that were obviously inspired by Vertigo and taken to the next level, it's pretty hard for the original to hold up.

I've only seen 3 of his films, but in this and North By Northwest it appears that 3rd acts were not the strong point of Hitchcock's directing abilities. This one really lost my admiration with about 20 minutes left when, in my opinion, the whole thing becomes a mess.
