Review of Vertigo (1958) by Johnny F — 08 Jun 2014
They don't make them like "Vertigo" any more. A one of a kind film with a superb cast and a haunting story of lost love. Arguably one of Hitchcock's best works if not the best. Jimmy Stewart and Kim Novak are believable characters who would hope for a love that could never be.
Brilliantly acted and photographed, "Vertigo" is the epitome of the Master's film portfolio. It has recently been beautifully restored on Blu Ray HD and is a must for any film collector.
