Review of Veronica Guerin (2003) by Rargeb E — 15 Jul 2009

Wow. What an powerful film. It leads one to wonder when the "war on drugs" will end. What is the answer? How should it be dealt with? I don't think that simply making drugs illegal is the answer, a friend of mine makes a continuing argument that drugs should be legalized. After seeing this film, it leads me to believe more than ever that she may be correct. If we remove the drug dealers from the equation, maybe the violence will end. Maybe we will be able to control the situation more with regulations and so forth.
