VERY POWERFUL DRAMA, IMPECCABLY DIRECTED BY LEIGH AND HE HAS A GREAT EYE FOR DETAIL. GREAT FEEL OF THE 1950'S. BELIEVABLY PRESENTED. IMELDA STAUNTON IS NOTHING LESS THAN MAGNIFICENT. SHE IS PERFECTLY CAST AND GIVES A RICH AND POWERFUL PERFORMANCE.
