Review of Vera Drake (2004) by Ben R — 22 Mar 2013
A very strong emotional film with great writing and a talented cast. Imelda Staunton gives a total Oscar worthy performance with such emotion that it makes you wanna cry or feel sorry for her. She plays a matriarch of a loving family who cleans houses and on the side performs illegal abortions! It's strong, emotional, and intense.
A strong independent film with a see feeling. My grade=88%(B+).
