Review of Velvet Goldmine (1998) by Astrid T — 23 Aug 2008
I wanted to see the movie because of Jonathan Rhys Meyers. He impressed me in August Rush so I wanted to see more of him. His performance in this is great - as is everybody else's. The movie as such is a little confusing - IF you don't know what it is supposed to be about.
Had I known the backstory more, I think I would have enjoyed it more.
